Robert Hart, Rick Wills and Kenny Jones formed The Jones Gang during 2001, When the trio came together for the recording of the song for the 'Small Faces Charitable Trust','Its all about the children'. .
Kenny jones tells the story :" We had Paul Young on vocals, but... He had his own stuff to do.So, Boz Burrell, god rest his soul, told me he knew this singer who was better than Paul Rogers with knobs on!,I said ," I don't believe it! However , that is how I eventually met Robert Hart. He is incredible! He had some songs,I had some ideas and we ended up writing the album".
On forming The Jones Gang Kenny said " I Always said that i wouldn't do another band unless it was stunning, but this is different class!".In 2005, The Jones Gang released their brilliant debut album
'Any Day Now' which includes, the Beatles flavoured With You,the contemporary sound of 'Time of your life' and the breathtaking 'Angel' which became a massive hit in the US and stayed at number one in the billboard chart for 11 weeks during 2007.
